This is a very exciting and very rare custom modernist piece made by renown John Richard Furniture Company. Inspired by Neal Small’s famous “Slopes” design, this sculptural work of art seems to present differently from each angle and each hour of the day.
Each individual mirror is acid washed and features copper toned trim. Very sturdy, heavy piece. This is an a truly stunning piece of art that provides the viewer with a segmented perspective of the world around them. Each mirror sits at a slightly different height, depth, and angle, which allows for each to capture a different glimpse of its surroundings.
The golden acid wash patina not only provides a slightly abstract quality to the reflections, but also captures and reflects sunlight magnificently throughout the day.
*This piece is designed to be mounted vertically.
Dimensions: 26" Wide x 58" Tall
Condition: This piece is in beautiful vintage condition. Slight ware is expected with age, but largely unnoticable. Between the copper-tone edging, the acid wash of the mirrors, and the varying degrees of thickness among the mirrors, this piece lends itself to a contemporary and refined, yet slightly rustic nature.
