Large Antique Ironstone Bowl with Scalloped Rim

This substantial antique ironstone bowl exudes timeworn beauty. Featuring a gently scalloped rim, vertical fluting along the interior walls, and a gently raised wheat motif circling the inside rim, the bowl is finished in a soft white glaze with pronounced crazing.
A faint embossed mark on the underside appears to suggest an early American or English pottery origin, though it’s difficult to decipher. This piece is estimated to be made somewhere between 1880 - 1910.
With signs of wear consistent with age—including two rim chips and allover crazing—this piece would make a striking centerpiece in a farmhouse kitchen or add soulful authenticity to a primitive or country cottage collection.
